Boyland Windows Ltd.

"Really good service ,excellent fitting of new garage doors .Fitter Griff was very nice ,friendly & polite worked clean & tidily removing all waste which was taken away. This the 4th time we have used Boylands & would highly recommend them"

"I was recommended Boyland by some friends who’d used them, when I was looking to replace some old 1980’s aluminium framed windows.  When Simon came over to do the quote, I mentioned in conversation some potential building work I wanted to do in the future (as I did with other people quoting) and he advised I didn’t replace a couple of the windows that would potentially have to be moved as part of that work (it seems obvious, but everyone else who quoted included those windows in their costs and I respected Simon for potentially losing out on a couple of window sales in the shorter term in order to make things simpler for me in the future). We had a room with two small windows that were high up the wall and didn’t let in much light, I mentioned that I wished those windows were larger, coming down towards the floor.  Because Boyland also has a sister company (Boyland builders), Simon said they could do this work and make this happen.  I had just made the comment in passing, I assumed the additional work would have been quite costly, so I wasn’t really seriously thinking about it as an option.  Simon said he’d do two quotes, one for replacing the existing smaller windows and also a quote to include the larger windows and building work to accommodate them. When I received the quotes, I actually thought there was an error due to the minimal difference in the two options, but it wasn’t an error, so of course I went for the larger windows and they totally transform the room from the inside and look much nicer/modern from the outside. The glazing work was carried out by Shaun, Joe and Mike, with Kev doing the plastering around the above-mentioned windows that had been enlarged.  They were all great and a pleasure to have around the house. This work was carried out a year ago now (my apologies for the delay in providing feedback).  One of the reasons I was recommended Boyland was because of how good they were with resolving issues.   However, I am not able to comment on this aspect because I have had absolutely zero issues with the windows in this first year. I highly recommend Boyland (I have already used them again for some brickwork) and will be speaking to them about future plans.  We’ve had many people compliment us on the windows when we’ve been outside, amazing job!"

"I recently had work carried out by Boylands Ltd., where two workmen, Griff and Cameron, replaced my front door and side panel, a large kitchen window, and a bathroom window with new UPVC installations. They also fitted all new fascias on my end-terrace property, including a particularly tricky high section over a single-storey extension. I’m very pleased with the results. The quality of the work is excellent, with a clean and professional finish throughout. Griff and Cameron were clearly skilled and took care to ensure everything was installed properly. They also did a thorough job of cleaning up afterwards, leaving everything tidy, and made sure I was completely happy with the work before they left. Overall, I would highly recommend Boylands Ltd. for their professionalism, attention to detail, and high standard of workmanship. In fact, my neighbour was so impressed with the results that they’ve already asked for a quote to have similar work done on their own property."

"We are so pleased with the job that the Boyland team did to transform our tired old glass roof conservatory into a functional living space. Their installation of a warm roof system alongside new windows and French doors has given us the perfect solution to address the difficult extremes in temperature we experienced. We now have a cosy and comfortable living space that will last many years. The quality of workmanship was fantastic. The team addressed any challenges promptly and found effective solutions to help meet our needs. Communication throughout was excellent. We’d absolutely recommend using Boyland Windows. Thank you to Simon and the team for your hard work."

"I wanted to take this opportunity to heartily thank Boyland Builders for the fantastic build of our new extension. We really are very pleased with the end result! Our build wasn’t exactly a straight forward one with additional ground works due to the slope of the land and limited access to negotiate. However, we got a good feeling from the very beginning with Simon from Boyland Builders, who worked with us to refine a comprehensive quote and bring it within our budget. I would like to thank every member of the Boyland Team involved with our build who were personable and professional all the way through the project. Their attention to detail and perseverance to work though the final snagging list really sets them apart from potential competition in my opinion. They really were excellent! There are many names I would like to give special thanks to – I think too many to list in this review, so just to name a few: Simon, who oversaw the whole project and delivered as quoted with no hidden extras! Mike & Adam, who were on site from the very start and dug our extremely deep footings by hand! Mike kept the site (which we were still living in!) very clean and tidy the whole way though. This meant a lot to us and really reduced the stress and chaos of such an intrusive building project. Even our neighbours and people further down our road commented on how tidy it was! Steve, for a great roofing job, and fixing roof tiles whilst careful working around expensive solar panels. Stacy, the internal plastering and external rendering are superb. Sarah, in the office, whose excellent and clear communication with us all the way through the project made the whole process effortless. I very much hope to work again with Boyland Builders in the future."
