"After booking an appointment the night before Craig Turned up early thats a change to most companies. Craig attempted to inblock my drain with a chain rod and this unfortinatly didnt work. "(Poole area) Called them out may bank holiday 2023 for a backed up toilet. Assumed it was over use of thick toilet paper when using the toilet. Plunged the toilet and even lifted the driveway drain cover to give it a rodding to unblock the waste pipe, no luck. It turned out to be years or hard solidified calcium build up. Every so often large fragments would snap off and then get lodged in waste pipe causing a blockage. Graham was quickly on the seen within an hour of calling. A courtesy call was made 10mins before arrival. He was very knowledgeable and got to work promptly to resolve my issue. He went over and above to remove the blockage along with any loose deposits of lime scale build up in the pipe work. Toilet was flushing and draining back to normal within the hour. Arranged to have a follow up CCTV survey and descale service to get to the bottom of my issue. Great service from Canford drains, always reliable and friendly, plus won’t break the bank. "We had blocked main drains at the side and the front of the house and there was decomposed toilet paper everywhere and nasty smell. We were very concerned that our toilet was close to no longer flushing. Phoned Canford Drains which we've used many years ago for a similar emergency and a lovely lady on the phone reassured me they'd get someone out as quick as possible. Within 2 hours we had a great bloke called Craig who cleared up the problem within an hour & a very reasonable charge of £105+vat. The director Mark is awesome too who I talked to separately regarding how the cleanup process is done. Awesome and genuine company, really nice and friendly people too. I strongly recommend this company to anyone with drainage problems, their response time is brilliant and very reasonably priced considering their service is just about perfect"

"I really cannot rate this company more highly. Having called them yesterday evening, I spoke to Amanda who was so friendly and helpful and said she would do her utmost to get someone to me the next day. True to her word, Gerry, the engineer (is that the correct term?!) arrived mid morning (having called me to say he was on his way) and he was an absolute delight - polite, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Within the hour my VERY blocked drain was cleared and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. Would not hesitate is using them again."
