"However desperate you are to have your drains seen to do not go with this company. They will rip you off big time. They charged 3 1/2 man hours for half an hour's work and recommended I get a new toilet for nearly £500. I got the toilet repaired with someone else for only £160. When challenged, Ryan stated that he normally charges more and you would be unlikely to get better rates elsewhere. Well, I suggest you try before committing to this company."

"A short summary, trying to sell our house it came to light that a sewer build over was not applied for by Southern Water!! I contacted Drains Direct to see if they could support with the issue. They sent out a very experienced engineer Elliott, we discussed the situation and he was very understanding. Elliot took complete control of the issue as if it was his own personal issue. He contacted Southern Water and as requested applied for a retrospective build over, Southern Water were very slow to respond but Elliot was relentless chasing them daily. Eventually Southern Water excepted the retrospective build over and Elliot quickly carried out the work to the standards Southern Water requested to a very professional standard. He then chased Southern Water Surveyors to sign off the work ASAP which they now have. On a personal note Elliot has been so supportive and understanding it was a breath of fresh air to find someone so committed to customer service and supporting myself to conclude this issue even through all the challenges he experienced with Southern Water never knocked him back he just kept on fighting for us to resolve the issue. "We could get an appointment on the day, for our emergency. Within 3 hours from the call we had Joel, who spent all the afternoon working under a terrible weather, cleaning the drain for us, constantly warning me about the expected expenses, giving plenty of advice. He took a video of the pipes and provided us with it, in case we can claim for the work. Everything was perfect and fixed, and he gave us another call a few days later to check if we were ok. I would highly recommend Joel and Direct Drains!"
