"My wife & I recently purchased a large one off new build property on the Somerset/Dorset border, which although it is south facing at the rear, the builders had rather frustratingly decided in their wisdom not to install a PV system. Although we knew it was a no brainier, we were new to the area & aware that the sector had its fair share of rogue operators. We therefore obtained a couple of quotes from the market but were left uncertain that we were receiving best advice. Fortunately, a very good friend of mine based near Bournemouth recommended Prostar & the rest as they say is history. We immediately felt that we were in safe hands from the initial site visit & JP & the rest of the team filled us with confidence every step of the way. Our target, having just retired & moving away from a house using oil fired central heating, was to make the most of our large roof area & south facing position & take control of both our energy production & consumption, as we transitioned into the scary world of retirement. The whole process took approximately 8-10 weeks from initial site meeting to full installation & my wife & I are absolutely delighted with the results. All the trades on the project (scaffolders, specialist roofers & Jonny the electrician) were a delight to deal with & we are already reaping the rewards of reduced electricity costs, which are easy to track on the extremely user friendly app. In summary, we could not recommend Prostar enough for their super friendly, courteous & professional service, along with a competitively priced turnkey solution which included 27 solar panels expertly placed so as not to negatively impact the aesthetic of our lovely slate roof, plus a battery & inverter to suit.
